Scalping ideas (ADX and Bollinger bands)

Scalping with the help of ADX:
To scalp effectively with minimum time spent, Forex scalpers need to know when the market is trending well and when there is nothing to wait for.
To find out about the strength of the market trend use ADX (Average Directional Index) indicator.
ADX does not show the direction of a current trend, it only shows the strength of the trend. Reading below 20 indicates a weak trend, reading just above 20 – gaining new strength trend and reading above 40 – very strong trend.
It is that simple – scalping is weak when the market is weak, when ADX deeps below 20 – opt for other life activities, do not sit and waste your time in Forex.
Scalping with the help of Bollinger bands:
Bollinger bands can help determine trends and especially upcoming trend reversals.
When price moves outside the Bollinger bands it is suggests a continuation of the current trend, while bottoms and tops made outside the Bollinger bands change to bottoms and tops made later inside the Bollinger bands suggest upcoming trend reversal.

HI, thanks for this explanation, could you please post a snap shot of bollinger bands alert for up coming trend reversal, as the strategy says that the top and bottom made '' later inside the bollinger bands shows the upcoming trend reversal ? please one snap shot for it .

the period is the same for both ADX
the difference appears on 4h 1D charts.

On every trading platform you can choose a period for ADX.
The default to use is 14-period ADX for all time frames.
Regarding the ADX levels, e.g. 20, 35 etc. Your platform can either allow you to add those levels, or you can always draw them manually using a trend line tool.

Please, how do i setting ADX to suit my trading platform,what and what do i change? for Try to balance my system in such way that i can initiate a trade when ADX is above 20 but below 35-40.
I was feeling good at that time :)
a) it is only the idea, not an entire system;
b) if it was so simple to just look at ADX and here you go, all candles are aligned in a perfect trend, we won't be talking about anything else on this website.
