I guess one could just aproximately see where the median is on a candle, and then measure the distance between the medians on the two candles.
Also, I suppose one would have to stare at charts all the time?
May be he meant that the price bars on the chart can be shown as (H+L)/2?
not to sure if this is the right thing to ask , but how quickly do you findout these median's differences of (H+L)/2 in moving chart...
I guess it would be no problem to write an indicator for this i guess , but unfortunetly iam not able to do this
you better be good at math because on a 1 minute chart things can happen really fast. i guess you just have to estimate it to get a ballpark number.
I think you've got that the wrong way round.
"Don't understand H+L/2 more than or equal 11 pips e/u pairs normally is 1.300 something where i get 11 please explain."

Look at any bar (or candle) on a chart. The top point of the bar is the period High. The bottom point of the bar is the period Low. The middle point of the bar is the average of the High and the Low. It can be written as (H+L)/2. This is normally called the Median Price.
If the Median price of the bar that just closed is 11 pips or more higher than the Median Price of the bar just before it, BUY. If the Median price of the bar that just closed is 11 pips or more lower than the Median Price of the bar just before it, SELL.
Total beginner here,
Do you mean the H+L/2 of the previous minute should be more/less than 11 pips of the next minute?
Thanks for sharing
Paul :)
I don't scalp so I am a bit biased. I imagine this isn't in the spirit of what a scalper would like though. Just my opinion and I appreciate anyone who has the courage to put a system on here
Anyone tried it ?

It's more about counting. Making a screenshot won't help to visualize it.

Brilliant Strategy - I am doing it now and you virtually get tops and bottoms. Not looking at it from the 1min chart though - I am testimg it on other currencies in the 15min. Thanks for this.
a picture and one example with actual numbers would be highly appreciated!
Thanks
