Hi,
can anybody please explain how the mouteki or Denmark trend indicators work.
thanks
Andy
Hi Edward,
I was testing this strategy. Looks like it has so many loss signals, than profit signals. What can we do to get into more profit signals?
Thx.
Tom
Hi Andy,
It looks to me that the indicator (EMA Crossover Signal) doesn't repaint.
Note also, that default indicator settings are 4 and 8 whereas we need 5 and 6.
It doesn't matter how many hours passed since the hourly chart had shown its first trend arrow. What we look for is an agreement about the trend between 15 min and hourly chart. So, as long as it is in the same direction, we're fine.
Regards,
Edward
James, Edward,
If an arrow appears on the 15 min chart and you look at the 1 hour chart to confirm that an arrow in the same direction is also present on that (1 hour) chart, does it have to have appeared in the LAST hour or could it be any hour, perhaps 4 or 5 hours, prior to the signal on the 15 min chart appearing as long as it is in the same direction. Hope this makes sense.
thanks
Andy
Hi,
can anybody tell me, once an arrow appears on a chart, either up or down, does it remain or can it keep repainting until it finally settles?
thanks
Andy

Hi Edward
Ok.Thank You very much for help. I found something else. If You find in the morning on 2 charts 1h an 30M the same arrow at the same time in one direction of course, then you go to 15M chart and almost always you have move worth aver 100 pips. Check it and you will find out. But there must be 2 conditions, arrows at the same time on in one direction and open the order only on 15m chart. For confirmation you can use Gann hilo and before that big move will see consolidation on 1H and 30M czarts. If you open 12-15 different pairs of currencies there will be 3-4 such moves almost every day. But before you do it check it and practice on demo account.
Best regards
Artur
Got it, Artur
After you receive a Buy signal on 15 min chart, as you switch to 1 hour chart, the green arrow (Buy signal) should already be there (on 1 hour chart). If it is not there, it means that there was no EMA cross on 1 hour chart, thus we must disregard the Buy signal received from 15 min chart.
You repeat checking 1 hour TF every time you get a signal on 15 min chart.
Basically, what it means, the hourly time frame should produce an arrow first, and then you get an invitation from 15 min TF that it is the right time to enter.

Edward
Hi Edward
All of them. I would like to know what is the maksimum distance beetween one arrow (when EMA alarm show the arrow) on 15M chart and 1H chart, when for example one arrow is on 7.15 on 15M and the second is on 8.30 on 1H. That is the best setting?
Thanks in advance
Best regards
Artur
Artur,
I'm not quite sure what arrows you're talking about.
Do you mean the arrows on the first screenshot?
Regards,
Edward
Hello
Thank You very much for the help Edward, but please help me with one more thing. Please explain me how is it important if the arrows on two charts are in different places. For example one is at 8.15 up, and the second is also up but for instance 2 or 3 hour later. Please tell me what is the defference, what is more important? Which arrow should be first and what is the maksimum distance in hours between them?
Thank You very much for help
Best regards
Artur
Hi Artur,
The indicator (BreakOut-EAGLE) is able to highlight the hours (in other words, the session) which you want to trade in.
If you look into the indicator settings, you'll see that you can customise the values:
periodBegin
periodEnd
For example, if you want to trade from 7am to 12pm, you can put in those values and the indicator will highlight the box for you, providing a so called "visual aid" for your active trading session.
Regards,
Edward
"Hello Chux, setting the breakout eagle indicator to the active session you want to trade gives a visual aid."
James.

Please anybody explain to me how can I do it - how is it possible to set the breakuot indicator to the active session:????????????? I don't know how to make it.
Thank You in advance
Artur
