Scalping system #6-a (Trend Trades)

I created a membership at traders laboratory and once accepted did a forum search for thread '2440'. Up it came. I found additional threads as well. There is A LOT of content!

I am anxious to learn more about this concept. Of special interest is that it is not using lagging indicators, but rather focusing on the price action at hand and interpreting it 'on-the-fly', so to speak.

At least, that's my take on it.

Off to do some more reading...

As much as trend gives you. Ideally you'll be using "scalpers exit" to bank at least half of your position, while the remaining part can be left till the time when black line crosses green.

This looks very promising. One of the references in the two PDF documents which explains the strategy is to an on-going further research on improving and optimising entry techniques using this on traderlaboratory website...... Walter / Edward --- how do I go to this thred on TL and join in the discusssion? The complete path to go to this in not provided in the PD documents. It would be excellent if either we can access the further research on TL, alternatively, if an annexure PDF can be created for it that too would be a great help! Looking forward to a response from you guys.

I believe that this a powerful system but... would it be somehow possible to make a shorter version of the rules? This is absolutely too complicated...
And one more thing: does it work also on longer time frames???

Hi Aussie,

The trend begins when all rainbow lines are committed to one side of the Magenta line.
Then as soon as black line wakes up from flat position - the trend is there.

If on 1M the black line doesn't penetrate the thick green line, there is no effective pullback identified. In this case we are left with 5M flat black line, which we will monitor for a sign of starting to ascend/descend - it'll be the ladder effect trading.

Thanks for a great site. And for this thread.

Please help me understand when a new trend begins, as this is the safest entry spot. Is it defined by a complete reversal to the other side of the rainbow?

Also when an entry signal is given but the 1 minute black line does not penetrate the green do we use the up move of the ladder to signal an entry?

Right Click on VMA indicator line, go to properties:

go to Colors, double click on Yellow field and change it to whatever color you like.

For VT Trader you need indicator files with extensions: *.vtscr.
Unfortunately, *.mq4 files won't run there.
